4 | BMW 501 original Baur Cabriolet, 1955 „The BMW 501 was a luxury saloon car manufactured by BMW from 1952 to 1958. Introduced at the first Frankfurt Motor Show in 1951, the 501 was the first motor car to be manufactured and sold by BMW after the Second World War. The 501 and its derivatives, including the V8 powered BMW 502, were nicknamed “Baroque Angels” by the German public. The BMW 502 was the first post war German car to be manufactured with a V8 engine. The 501 was an all-new platform, with a perimeter frame, double A-arm front suspension with torsion bar springs and a live axle with torsion bar springs at the rear. The steering mechanism was similar to a rack and pinion system except that the rack was semi-circular instead of straight. The 501 was powered by the M337 engine, a development of the BMW M78 used in the pre-war BMW 326. The body was designed in house by Peter Schimanowski. After seeing the prototype, BMW's management commissioned Pininfarina to build an alternative. The Pininfarina prototype was thought to be too similar to his design for the Alfa Romeo 1900 saloon, so BMW stayed with Schimanowski's design. The steel body was far heavier than Schimanowski had calculated it to be, resulting in the completed car having a dry weight of 1.430 kilograms (3.150 lb). Performance suffered as a result, with a top speed of 135 km/h (84 mph) and acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) taking 27 seconds, both of which compared unfavourably with the six-cylinder Mercedes-Benz 220. One innovation was the attention paid to passive safety. The car featured a robust chassis providing above average side impact protection, an unusually short steering column with the steering gear set well back from the front of the car. and a fuel tank placed in a carefully protected location above the rear axle in order to minimize fire risk in the event of an accident. The 501 was introduced to the public in April 1951 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, as was its less expensive. production-ready rival, the Mercedes-Benz 220. The 501 made an impression on the public with its solid engineering and its extravagance. Its list price of more than fifteen thousand Deutsche Mark was about four times the average yearly salary in Germany at the time. The public nicknamed the 501 "Barockengel" (Baroque Angel) in reference to the curved. flowing style of the body. Vehicle description BMW 501 Baur Cabrio. - contemporary radio. - brown leather interior. - Chromed trim rings on the rims. - Brake booster. - Body number: 2107“ BMW 501 6 cylinder engine was replaced by BMW 502 8 cylinder engine. Comes with German TV. Condition 3. Seller's estimate : 180000 / 220000 |

5 | Auburn „It is indicative of just how hard times were during the Depression that the best, most powerful and most attractive automobiles the Auburn Automobile Company ever produced were sold in the final two years of the company's existence. Yet even the Auburn 851/852, even with a supercharger developed by Augie Duesenberg and Gordon Buehrig's coachwork, and even at a highly favorable price, wasn't enough to resuscitate Auburn's fortunes. Word of the company's deteriorating financial position spread, scaring off possible Auburn buyers who didn't want to be left driving an orphan brand. 1936's Auburn 852 was the final model built by the company. It was a great value with a strong Lycoming-built 280 cubic inch inline eight cylinder engine with a two-barrel carburetor producing 115 brake horsepower and 210 lb-ft torque. The three-speed manual transmission often drove though a 2-speed rear axle that leveraged the engine's ample torque for quite high speed running and fuel economy. Gordon Buehrig updated the coachwork in 1935, adopting the existing passenger compartment but created a stylish new radiator surround in body color sheet metal and a revised hood to create an entirely new look that was, and still is, very successful. The only change Auburn could afford to make for 1936's model 852 was to change the model number on the radiator grille. 280ci Lycoming Straight 8-Cylinder Engine. Single Stromberg Duplex Downdraft Carburetor. 115bhp at 3.600rpm. 150 PS Kompressormotor. 3-Speed Manual Transmission. 4-Wheel Semi Elliptic Leaf Springs. 4-Wheel Bendix Hydraulic Internal Expanding Drum Brakes. *Rare example of the final year of Auburn production. *Powerful Lycoming straight eight engine. *Dual Ratio rear axle. *Attractive and adaptable Gordon Buehrig/Al Leamy designed Phaeton Sedan coachwork“Certificates of Authenticity are available. 6 | Porsche 911 SC-L3.1 Year of construction: 1980. An absolute rarity! This Porsche 911 SC 3.0 was modified to a model 911 SC-L3.1 by using a so-called "performance increase kit". Due to several modifications at the engine the displacement has been increased from 2.993 ccm to 3.122 ccm and the power from 188 hp to 210 hp. This modification was carried out by Porsche on the specific request of the customer (at the engine marked with *3.1). But it was not an "official" upgrade of the Porsche SC 3.0. To date it is unknown how many vehicles have been modified in this way. It can therefore be assumed that this Porsche is a very rare model. Moreover, this Porsche is equipped with numerous racing components like forged lightweight alloy rims, roll bar, an additional stabiliser in the trunk and measuring instruments twisted by 90. The Porsche is overall in good condition with a light patina. It was last registered on the Canary Islands. Only 200 made. Condition 2. The car can be inspected in the Classic Centrum Zwickau, Breithauptstrasse 3-5, 08056 Zwickau. Date according to agreement. Seller's estimate : 125000 / 130000 |

7 | EMW 327 Coupé Year of construction: 1953. 1916 BMW had taken over the Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach, which was developed into the central production plant of BMW in the 1930th. The EMW 327 was produced there from 1937 to 1941. With its streamlined shape the EMW 327 cabriolets and coupes rank among the most beautiful pre-war sports cars. After World War II BMW resumed production in Eisenach first. Due to legal and license disputes with the Russian administration in Thuringia BMW relocates production to other locations in 1952. Subsequently BMW became EMW (Eisenacher Motorenwerke) and the blue-and-white logo became red-and-white. Up to 1955 500 cabriolets and 152 coupes EMW 327 were produced - almost unchanged compared with the pre-war model BMW 327 and also equipped with a 2 litre 6-cylinder engine with 55 hp. This EMW 327 coupe is an early model from 1953. It was delivered to a Swedish customer and remained in Sweden until 2014. The vehicle was unrestored and partially dismantled, but almost all parts were still existing. The car has been fully restored in Germany, using mainly refurbished original parts. The restoration was completed in 2017. The EMW is roadworthy. A (German) expert opinion for the registration as a historic vehicle is available. Frame up restoration, Condition 1. The car can be inspected in the Classic Centrum Zwickau, Breithauptstrasse 3-5, 08056 Zwickau. Date according to agreement. Seller's estimate : 160000 / 170000 |

8 | BMW 327 Year of construction: 1945. 1916 BMW had taken over the Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach, which was developed into the central production plant of BMW in the 1930th. The BMW 327 was produced there from 1937 to 1941. With its streamlined shape the BMW 327 cabriolets and coupes rank among the most beautiful pre-war sports cars. The BMW is equipped with a 2 litre 6-cylinder engine with 55 hp. BMW produced a total of 1.871 pieces - thereof only 265 coupes. This vehicle has a very special history. It was obviously one of the last cars produced in 1941. It was fully assembled, but was never delivered to any end user. After World War II the car was "found again". It was registered in the inventory list of the BMW production plant in 1946. Its year of construction was set to 1945. In 1950 the BMW was handed over to the Russian administration in Thuringia. Various documents referring to the exceptional history of this vehicle are available in relevant archives. In 2017/18 the car was fully restored. All technical components (chassis, axis, drive, fuel supply, electrical equipment) were overhauled or replaced if necessary. The body was restored and repainted. Interior and upholstery were renewed as well - matching the colour of the body. The BMW is roadworthy. Frame up restoration, Condition 1. A (German) expert opinion for the registration as a historic vehicle is available. The car can be inspected in the Classic Centrum Zwickau, Breithauptstrasse 3-5, 08056 Zwickau. 9 | Amilcar Year of production: 1926. AMILCAR had been a small French carmaker. Between 1921 and 1939 they produced primarily small race cars, which were humorously called "poor-people-Bugatti". AMILCAR race cars achieved respectable results in numerous well-known races like the 24 hours of Le Mans, the Mille Miglia or the Rallye Monte Carlo. Still today the AMILCAR model CGSS belongs to the cars which are approved to participate in the Mille Miglia. This AMILCAR CGSS is not a museum piece. It had an "eventful life" which you can see by looking at it - but somehow its patina also makes up its charm. The first owner lived on the Spanish island Gran Canaria. The car was the 1985th of all vehicles which have been ever registered on Gran Canaria. The original vehicle number plate is still existing. The car was registered up into the 1990th. The owners were members of several Spanish automobile associations and the pleasure of driving - may be also the pleasure of racing - was always in their focus. Over time the car was partially restored several times. Many original parts and nice details have been preserved till today. Various technical changes have been made in order to improve the handling and the reliability of the car as well as its traffic safety (e.g. hydraulic brakes). The original engine was replaces by a robust and a little more powerful engine of a Morris Minor 1000 (1.100 ccm, about 45 PS) probably in the 1960th or 1970th. Therefore this AMILCAR CGSS is easy to drive despite the early construction year 1926. Moreover the car is an absolute eye-catcher at each classic car event. Ready to drive Condition 2-. The car can be inspected in the Classic Centrum Zwickau, Breithauptstrasse 3-5, 08056 Zwickau. Date according to agreement. Seller's estimate : 55000 / 65000 |
