Description:
Small organ with a superb sound These small organs were produced in Leipzig, Germany. They date from around the 1870s to the 1880s. They were designed for playing indoors, unlike their bigger cousins the street organs. The music is programmed onto 11,75 in. interchangeable metal rings and the music is produced by 18 reeds. The tunes are happy and jolly. The Ariston organette was made by the Schmidt & Co. Leipzig. The case measures 7,0 x 14,75 x 12,75 in. DF, CH

Ariosa Organette Kleine Orgel mit hervorragendem Klang. Diese kleinen Orgeln wurden von Schmidt & Co. in Leipzig produziert und stammen aus der Zeit um 1870/1880. Im Gegensatz zu ihren größeren Verwandten, den Straßenorgeln, wurden diese für den Hausgebrauch konzipiert. Musik auswechselbaren Metallringen mit 29,5 cm Durchmesser, diese werden über einen Kamm mit 18 Zähnen abgespielt. Zu dieser Orgel gehören 10 Ringe. Sehr gut erhalten. 17,6 x 37,0 x 32,0 cm. CH, DF
