According to existing records, this Cadillac was purchased by Elvis Presley on October 2, 1956, the original Owners Manual with the signatures of both buyer and seller is present. According to various books, this Series 62 is believed to be the first new car bought by the "King". 1977, the car was traded into a boat and remained in the boat yard until 1981. Subsequently, the car was owned by Kenneth W. Conner in Ft. Myers - an acquaintance of Harold Loyd, Elvis' cousin. He had the Cadillac repainted and some parts re-chromed.
